Welcome to the home of the North Yorkshire award winning and nationally acclaimed Rose and Crown restaurant & bar owned by Carol Temple & Bruce Simpson.

Our team pride themselves on using only the freshest ingredients delivered daily and are passionate about utilising North Yorkshire products and services where possible.

We are pleased to offer various daily "specials" often fish orientated as well as deliciously presented meat dishes. Each day the chefs make delicious home-made soup often to their own unique recipe. Vegetarians are also well catered for with the head chef's own recipe ravioli or lasagne. Finally, we offer a fabulous choice of yummy desserts (mainly home-made) including Carol's famous knickerbocker glory.
